The Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus fosters patriotism through responsible citizenship and active Catholic witness through active participation in the Assembly. Pope St. John Paul II once called the Knights of Columbus the " strong right arm of the church" for commitment to the "culture of life," and support of the papacy.
Bishop Phillip R. McDevitt Assembly 920 continues to serve the York Deanery through our service, Catholic witness and patriotism including the works of the seven councils whose membership makes up our assembly. Our assembly is part of a long tradition of Catholic fraternal life in York County.

Founded by Blessed Michael McGivney in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is the premier lay Catholic men’s organization. Guided by the principles of charity, unity and fraternity, we build lifelong relationships with our members and families. We are multigenerational and international. We offer formation, mutual aid and financial security to members through our charity, products and outreach. We aspire to invite every Catholic man to join the Knights of Columbus and to extend our charitable reach as widely as possible.
